With just over 10 million people, Haiti is the second most populated country in the Caribbean, but is also one of the poorest countries in the world and the poorest country in the Americas. This gives us a great challenge to help meet not only the spiritual, but also the physical needs of the people of Haiti.

Teams from Partnership International have ministered sporadically in Haiti since the 2010 earthquake, but  2018 with be the first year that we will be making Haiti a permanent trip destination.

On this trip teams will have the opportunity to minister to poor communities in Haiti, distribute food, and help build infrastructure with strategic work and building projects.

The ministry in Haiti will take place in and around the village of Fond Doux.

Every Partnership International trip is led by a P.I. team member, but in addition to that we always partner with a local ministry leader wherever we are working. However, our partner in Haiti is a little different in that, it is not a local we are working with, but rather Pastor Winston Bui who serves as the Chi Alpha director at UCLA. Pastor Winston is uniquely qualified to serve as our partner in Haiti as he has been leading teams to Fond Doux village every year for over a decade. Armed with longevity and a great rapport with the local leaders and people, Pastor Winston's heart is to see Fond Doux and the surrounding villages transformed through the message of the Gospel and methodical changes in local community infrastructure.
